Have you ever asked yourself what love really is? We all want to love and be loved unconditionally, and without love life is impossible. Love is the force that holds everything together and yet we have been unable to come up with words that can define love. You cannot think love, You can think loving thoughts, but love is beyond the logic of the mind and is found in the wisdom of the heart. We experience love through our feelings and emotions, and everything we do in this life we do in the pursuit of the experience we call love. Of course the irony is that we have no need to go anywhere to find love or to achieve anything to get it. Love is right here inside us all the time. In truth we are love.

By focusing on how you can put more love in other people’s lives, being a source of love you will take an important step in receiving the love you seek. The very thing you wish to receive is the very thing you should give away, and the more you give the more you will receive. When we put the emphasis on being a loving person and stop worrying about how much love we are receiving, we find that we have plenty of love in our life. Love is its own reward.

In order to truly love someone else, you must first love yourself. When you truly love yourself, you have no need for the acceptance of others. You can be your authentic self. You have no attachment to possessions, because the loss of them cannot take away the love you have for yourself. You are free to express yourself, because you have no fear of loss or rejection. Other people are attracted to you, because they see in you the love that they are looking for in themselves. Not only are we looking for love, love is at the same time searching for us.

As we wake up from this amazing dream we call life, we are beginning to realize that we are all a part of the love and light that flows through everything in the universe we are all inextricably connected. Any sense of separation is simply an illusion. We are also beginning to see that in our own special and unique way, we are all perfect. How could our Creator make anything less than perfect? Everyone and everything is in some way a reflection of who we really are. As we speak to each other, we are speaking to ourselves. When we are giving, we are giving to ourselves. When we are angry, we are angry with ourselves, and when we are loving, we are loving ourselves.
